We’re looking for a highly motivated person with a great desire to study. Are you the right person for the EdMom Scholarship?

We want to make sure that we’re sharing our time with students who need it the most, so please scan or take a photo of any documents that prove ONE of the following below criteria:
    1. Received or are eligible to receive an ACT or SAT testing fee waiver.
    2. Enrollment in or eligibility to participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Your annual family income falls within the Income Eligibility Guidelines set by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.
    3. Enrollment in a federal, state, or local program that aids students from low-income families (e.g. federally funded programs such as TRIO (Upward Bound, Talent Search, etc.) and GEAR UP).
    4. Family receives public assistance. You live in federally subsidized public housing, or a foster home, or are experiencing homelessness.
    5. A ward of the state or an orphan.
    6. Other documents: If you have other forms of proof that you would like to submit, simply include those here as well.
Please make sure that the document is legible. Also, please make sure to block out any social security numbers or other sensitive information that may be on these documents. Your proof of financial need will NOT be shared with your counselor.

The EdMom Scholarship provides eight hours of application consulting. The services provided by the consultant are advisory in nature. The final decision on selection of colleges to apply to and attend rests entirely with the student and their family. The student bears responsibility for knowing and meeting application deadlines for institutions, programs, and scholarships, as well as for following provided advice. The consultant and/or EdMom Scholars do not guarantee acceptance to any particular college.

I certify that the information I have given on the application is complete and correct. I understand my failure to provide complete, accurate and truthful information on the application will be grounds to deny or withdraw an offer of admission to the program or dismiss me after admission. I will inform the EdMoms Scholarship Program if I begin working with another college access organization at any point during my process.
